Turnover in internal trade in July 2023
As many as 6 out of 9 components of retail trade did not reach the last year´s turnover level, two smaller components of the industry registered a double-digit drop.

The year-on-year decline in retail turnover continued for the 5 consecutive month, but in June a decrease in turnover was lower than in previous months. The overall result was mainly negatively affected by lower turnover of hyper- and supermarkets.

Retail turnover lagged behind last year for the fourth consecutive month. Seven out of nine components of the retail trade recorded lower turnover. The whole industry was affected mainly by a decrease in turnover of hyper and supermarkets.
