There were 56,650 live births and 59,089 deaths in the Slovak Republic in the year 2020. The natural decrease reached 2,439 persons.

The net foreign migration reached 4,347 persons (6,775 immigrants and 2,428 emigrants).

The total increase was 1,908 persons.
