Industrial producer prices

Compared to August, output prices for the domestic market increased by 1.4 % in September. Prices of mining and quarrying increased by 2.1 %, electricity and gas supply and manufacturing equally by 1.5 % and water supply and waste management by 0.2 %.

In manufacturing, prices of metals increased by 4.7 %, chemicals by 3.9 %, transport equipment by 2 %, electrical equipment by 0.7 %, rubber and plastic products by 0.6 %, other manufacture by 0.5 % %, machinery n.e.c. by 0.3 % and food, pharmaceuticals and computer products equally by 0.1 %. Prices of textiles and leather decreased by 0.8 %, wood products by 0.6 % and coke and petroleum products by 0.1 %.

In September 2021, compared to September 2020, output prices for the domestic market increased by 8.5 %. Prices of manufacturing increased by 9.9 %, mining and quarrying by 7.1 %, water supply and waste management by 6.9 % and electricity and gas supply by 6.7 %.

In manufacturing, prices of coke and petroleum products increased by 59.1 %, metals by 28.7 %, chemicals by 21.4 %, wood products by 20.7 %, other manufacture by 6.6 %, electrical equipment by 5.7 %, food by 3.1 %, pharmaceuticals by 1.5 %, rubber and plastic products by 0.9 %, transport equipment by 0.6 % and textiles and leather by 0.3 %. Prices of computer products and also prices of machinery not elsewhere classified decreased by 2.3 %.

On average, since the beginning of the year, compared to the same period last year, industrial producer prices increased by 2.9 % due to an increase in prices of mining and quarrying by 6 %, water supply and waste management by 5.6 %, manufacturing by 3.5 % and electricity and gas supply by 1.7 %.

In September, compared to August, output prices for the non-domestic market increased by 1.7 %. Prices of electricity and gas increased by 8.1 %, water supply and waste management by 3.2 % and manufacturing by 1.4 %. Prices of mining and quarrying decreased by 3.2 %.

In manufacturing, prices of manufacture of metals increased by 5.5 %, coke and petroleum products by 4.5 %, electrical equipment by 1.8 %, other manufacture by 1.5 %, computer products by 1.4 %, wood products by 1 %, chemicals by 0.9 %, rubber and plastic products and food by 0.7 % and machinery not elsewhere classified by 0.2 %. Prices of pharmaceutical products remained unchanged. Prices of manufacture of textiles and leather, and also prices of transport equipment decreased by 0.1 %.

In September 2021, compared to September 2020, output prices for the non-domestic market increased by 12.7 %. Prices of water supply and waste management were higher by 79.9 %, electricity and gas by 37.5 %, mining and quarrying by 32.2 % and manufacturing by 11.6 %.

In manufacturing, prices of coke and petroleum products increased by 50.1 %, metals by 45.4 %, chemicals by 23.3 %, wood products by 16.9 %, computer products by 15.1 %, electrical equipment by 9.7 %, rubber and plastic products by 8.2 %, other manufacturing by 8 %, machinery not elsewhere classified by 4.9 %, food by 2.1 % and textiles and leather and transport equipment by 0.1%. Prices of pharmaceutical products decreased by 0.2 %.

On average, since the beginning of the year, compared to the same period last year, output prices for the non-domestic market increased by 5 % due to an increase in prices of water supply and waste management by 36 %, mining and quarrying by 18.1 %, electricity and gas supply by 9.1 % and manufacturing by 4.8 %.

Prices of agricultural products

In September, prices of agricultural products were higher by 13.5 % year-on-year. Prices of crop products increased by 19.5 % and prices of animal products by 0.4 %.

As for the crop products, prices of oilseeds and seeds increased by 26.7 %, cereals by 26.2 %, legumes by 9.8 % and fruits and vegetables by 4.3 %. Potato prices fell by 2.1 %.

As for the animal products, the prices of sheep and lamb slaughtered increased by 25 %, poultry slaughtered by 10 %, live fish by 2.5 %, hen edible eggs by 0.6 % and raw cow milk by 0.2 %. Prices of raw sheep wool in pot decreased by 23.6 %, pigs slaughtered by 1.9 % and prices of beef cattle and calves, by 0.1 %.

Since the beginning of the year, prices of agricultural products increased on average by 7.4 % due to higher prices of crop products by 14.2 % and lower prices of animal products by 2.1 %.

Prices of construction works

In September 2021, compared to August, construction work prices in September 2021 increased by 0.8 %. Compared to September 2020, they increased by 8 %. On average, construction work prices rose by 2.6 %, year-on-year, since the beginning of the year.

Prices of construction materials and components

In September 2021, compared to August, prices of construction materials and components increased by 2.1 %. Compared to September 2020, they increased by 18.2 %. On average, since the beginning of the year, prices of construction materials and components increased by 7.7 % year-on-year.
