Prices of market services also increased at the beginning of 2023

In the 1st quarter of 2023, prices of market services rose by 16.8% year-on-year. Quarter-on-quarter prices of market services increased by 10.9%.

Prices recorded the most dynamic year-on-year growth in financial service activities, except insurance by 45.2%. Prices rose more significantly in air transport (by 38.3%), in publishing activities (by 37.8%), in warehousing and auxiliary activities in transport (by 29.9%), and in travel agencies and tour operator activities and in real estate activities (by 29.6%).

On the contrary, a decrease in prices was recorded in legal and accounting activities (by 0.4%) compared to the same period last year.

Quarter-on-quarter, i.e. compared to the 4th quarter of 2022, prices increased mainly in financial service activities, except insurance (by 31.2%) and in real estate activities (by 26.0%). Prices recorded the most significant quarter-on-quarter decrease in air transport (by 31.3%) and in the motion picture, video and television programme production activities (by 18.0%).
